Project Roku (work in progress) -- A messaging service for keeping the goal-related results of self-reflection and meditation top-of-mind, to improve life focus, accountability and motivation.
Contour App -- A web app that calculates a person's clothing measurements given two selfies.
Server-Monitor (work in progress) -- A service for automatic server problem detection and remediation, written in Python using Sparts.
Project Hydro (Engineering Design Project) -- A custom, IOT-enabled sensor that seemlessly integrates with household toilets to provide individual, real-time hydration information to a user's smartphone.
Embedded Software Design (OS 161) -- Wrote a kernel for the Cortex M-3 ARM processor in C.
VHDL Compiler Project -- Wrote a compiler for VHDL(subset) to MIPS in Java.
Kalos -- A barbell attachment and pressure-sensing platform that provides real-time feedback about athletes' weighlifting form via mobile app to prevent injury.
DIY Eye-Tracker -- Designed and built an electroencephalogram (EEG) sensor to track eye position in real time by measuring changes in potential difference across the face for less than $50.
Hack the North -- I co-founded and co-directed Canada's largest hackathon for 2 years.
WaterlUX -- I co-founded and was president of the University of Waterloo's UI/UX Design club for 2 years.
ESSCO Director of National Engineering Month -- Raised awareness about engineering education by building a province-wide rube goldberg machine to light the CN Tower Purple.
CANDEO -- Led a team of 6 in developing a 3D braille-based smartphone-screen for the blind for Shad Valley.
UX Design -- I worked with the Games Institute at the University of Waterloo to setup and design a Rails based web-platform for a school-wide study about touch-screen usage patterns.
Stem & Cancer Cell Research -- I investigated the effect of mechanical barriers on the extracellular matrix of RBMSC stem cells and HT-1080 cancer cells with respect to stem cell differentiation and cell growth and stretching respectively with the Matrix Dynamics Group at the University of Toronto.
Optimizing Biomechanics in Badminton -- I co-designed, led and fundraised from private companies to run a study investigating the bio-physics of badminton and potential optimization strategies based on shuttle kinematics.
